Advantages
Felt lining protects blade surface from scratching and dents.
To get the most accurate size, measure from the blade tip to the start of the knife handle (Where the blade begins to widen for the handle).
Choose a sleeve that's about 0.5CM longer than your blade. This creates a margin of safety to protect you from the knife tip.
Entire length of cutting edge must be completely covered by sleeve. It's not too critical if part of the blade's spine protrudes from the sleeve (Especially if you have wide blade knives).

Tips for use
Thoroughly dry knives before slotting them into sleeves.
The felt lining will accumulate oil (like our SharpShield oil) from knives over time, reducing the frequency of oiling blades in future.
